What Breast Shield sizes are available and how will I know if they’ll fit?
Pumply comes with a 24mm Breast Shield (often called a flange), a pack of 17, 19, 21mm Breast Shields is also available to purchase, or a 27mm available here.
The size of your nipple may change over the course of your breastfeeding journey, so please keep other Breast Shields sizes in case you need them at a later date.
How does this pump work for larger breasts?
Pumply is suitable for larger breast sizes. The pump was made to fit inside a standard nursing bra, so the breast size doesn't affect how it works. If needed, you can use the included Bra Adjuster to create additional room.

Do I need a special bra to use Pumply breast pump?
Our wearable breast pump is designed to be worn with your standard nursing bra. The pump needs to be tightly pressed against your breast, with no gaps between it and your breast.
Each and every bra has a different level of support, so make sure to get the compression right before each session. If you are using a particularly structured and inflexible bra, the included Bra Adjuster may be used to create more room.
How much can it hold?
Each Pumply pump holds 6 ounces.
How to sterilize Pumply parts?
👉 Sterilize before first use by submerging all parts except the motor and charging cable in a deep and wide pot of boiling water for 3-5 minutes. These parts should be fully submerged in water and not touch the bottom or sides of the pot.
👉 Hand wash in warm soapy water then rinse clean after subsequent uses. Using cold sterilization or UV sterilization is also permissible.
👉 Do not wash parts in the dishwasher.
👉 Never sterilize or wash the Motor or USB Cable.
Can I move around while pumping?
Absolutely! Pumply lets you move how you want to while you pump. The Wearable Breast Pump tucks into your bra so you can pump while you walk, multi-task, or relax. This makes everyday things like making breakfast or playing with your toddler totally doable.
How many modes and suction levels does the Pumply have?
Pumply has a massage mode, as well as five suction levels so you can find the level that is most comfortable and efficient for you.
What is the massage mode and how could it help?
Pumply has a massage mode that makes breastfeeding/expressing more comfortable. It helps with:
- Relieve pain and discomfort as you produce milk
- Soften your breast before feeding to improve latching and encourage let-down
