It was somewhere around 3 AM, in my second pumping session of the night, when the baby was screaming...
I was stuck in the chair with a machine mechanically removing milk from my breasts.
My husband was stumbling to the kitchen to fix another bottle, when I realized something:
I couldn’t do this anymore.
Pumping all of my milk for my baby without giving her any formula quickly became a full-time job.
And when my husband had to go back to work, and I was left alone to get my other 4 school-aged children out the door and to school every morning, and care for the baby...
I soon realized I would need some help if I wanted to continue pumping.
I decided it was time to look for a hands free pump.
That way, I could pump while caring for my baby, and getting the kids ready.
Or even pump on the drive to school.
But when it came time to choose a pump, I was torn.
So I started researching every product under the sun to see what the top hands free pump were.
The only problem is most of the best ones are in the $500 range, and I don't have that kind of money just laying around.
I was starting to get frustrated, so before bed I posted to facebook asking if any of my friends had any suggestions.
The next morning I woke up to a message from a friend who works as a lactation consultant for a major hospital.
She told me about a new product a company just created called Pumply.
It's a hands free breast pump that uses a brand new suction technology and fits directly into your bra or tank top and allow you to pump with total freedom.
“Does it actually work?” I asked. Here’s what she said:
So I ordered one and decided to give it a try. It showed up within a few days of ordering it, and I put it to the test. First thing I noticed is that it came beautifully packaged.
It's also easy to set up and use. You can choose between 5 suction levels and it has a massage mode to make sucking milk more comfortable.
The battery lasts a whole day which is enough for 6 full pumping sessions. It is recharged via a micro USB which is great, perfect for taking anywhere.
Moment of truth… I made sure everything is tightly put together and then I just fit it into my bra and turned it on.
What happened next is extraordinary. Within a matter of minutes, there was a bunch of milk that I can put in the freezer! I couldn’t believe it. I started walking to see if it holds, and it did. It worked. At first, I thought it would leak with movement, but it did not leak at all.
The suction is really good and also is pretty quiet. So much more comfortable than my normal pump and the hands free is so convenient. It’s freed me to wash dishes, hold the baby, and walk around to do things while pumping.
Fast delivery, which I always love! When I opened the package, I was pretty pleased with the quality of the device. It’s a grey color.
I turned it on straight away and it was working. It came with a user guide and it was quite easy to put together.
I'm skeptical it will work but let’s give this thing a try and see how it goes!
I was shocked it worked really well and to my shock I got an ounce in the first 5 mins of use!!! It has the same suction as my normal pump.
I'm using it every day and I am really liking it so far. One of the things I like is that it is easy to clean and put together. I make sure to dry the parts completely before using.
It's simple to use and also very easy to pour out as well.
I charge it once a day which takes about 1 or 2 hours to fully charge.
My son feeds nicely but falls asleep so quickly. I’m pumping around the clock and I’m able to build my supply which is great because I’ll be going back to work soon and THIS will be my life saver.
I was able to get so much done around the house and still include my pump session in.
No they are not completely silent, but they also are not loud. I didn't even notice the noise from them.
So excited to use them once I go back to work!
This product has been a game changer for me since I have returned to work. I am able to discreetly pump every 3 hours. Although the workplace is supposed to provide designated times and a comfortable place to pump for mothers, it can be hard to find the time to step away for 25 ish minutes when things get busy.
My coworkers have said they can hardly tell when I have them on! I am able to pump about 5 ounces with each pumping session during my work day.
I am able to refrigerate the milk while I am at work, and clean/sterilize them thoroughly when I get home at the end of the day.
I have never run out of battery, and I am able to pack them in a small convenient bag for work. I can't recommend these enough!
Pumps out milk without chaining you down to a wall.
Pumply was voted the best product for moms in 2021.
Tiny, easy to carry and silent like a quiet office.
My output is higher than a hospital-grade pump and hands-free is key to getting through the day... highly recommend!

They are my #1 baby purchase. Rather than being tied up to pumps and tubes and a chair, I pump while bottle feeding my baby, walking, driving, cleaning, eating dinner, etc.

With this pump, not only can I use just about any bra that I’m wearing to hold the pump in place, but it consistently extracts at least 1-3 oz more milk on each side than my hospital grade pump did.
